I was first introduced to
this breed on a meeting with a friend (thanks Mary Rogers!) and was put
in touch with Judy Vaneman of CJ’s Valley View Kennels. I was very
impressed with Mary’s Shiloh “Cisco” and was hooked when I met and spent
time with Judy and her magnificent “Lobo”.
Lobo was a true
ambassador to this breed, his loyalty to Judy and his confident, yet
gentle demeanor towards my son and me made me decide right then and
there to get involved with this breed. I feel honored to have known Lobo
and I mourned his passing. Lobo will always be in my thoughts whenever I
look at my boys, although they share no bloodline. I credit Lobo and
Judy with showing me how great and majestic a breed can be when they are
“placed” rather than sold.
Judy has become a close
friend to my family and especially to me. I cannot give enough credit to
Judy on her unwavering desire to move this breed forward, both
genetically and spiritually. Judy is more to me than my breeder, she has
become a family member (right Momma!) and will be my teacher in my
education of the breeding procedures.
Von Kaiser Shiloh
Shepherds will always maintain the highest standards and will settle for
nothing less, I hope Lobo looks down from the rainbow bridge and his
chest swells with pride.
